Background

Oleg Rogozin graduated from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) in 2011 with honors, majoring in "Applied mathematics and physics". In January 2017 Oleg Rogozin joined Dorodnicyn Computing Center of Russian Academy of Sciences as a junior research fellow. In may 2018, he defended a PhD thesis "Numerical and asymptotic analysis of some classical problems of molecular gas dynamics" under supervision of Prof. Felix Tcheremissine. The specialty is "Mechanics of liquid, gas and plasma". Since 2019, he has been working as a researcher in the 24th Department of FRC CSC RAS, as well as at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology.

Research interests: kinetic theory, rarefied gas dynamics, numerical methods, high-performance computing.
