OUR SOFTWARE
Three main groups of our software:
- software that implements the Feasible Goals Method
is based on visualization of the Pareto frontier for linear multiple criteria decision problems;
- software that implements the Reasonable Goals Method
is based on visualization of the Pareto frontier for the convex hull of finite number of criterion points
and is used for selecting a small number of preferable alternatives from
a large list of decision alternatives;
this software may be used for data mining, i.e. discovering of
information in large Databases containing multiple tuples (rows);
- software that implements the Nonlinear Feasible Goals Method
is based on visualization of the Pareto frontier
for nonlinear multiple-criteria decision problems;
the tool for visualization of a point-wise approximation
of a multi-dimensional Pareto frontier can be downloaded.
All software systems apply approximation in criterion space or
attribute space. Convex sets are approximated by polytops
(approximation methods are based on integration of optimization
methods and the convolution of linear inequalities systems introduced
by Fourier). Non-convex sets are approximated by systems of balls.
Display is based mainly on the
Interactive Decision Maps (with animation).
Several examples of our software may be downloaded from the pages devoted
to the particular groups of software.
