Abstract
Application of OR/MS techniques in planning and management are considered. Principles of mathematical modeling on all levels of a centrally planned national economy are described. Special attention is given to computer-based decision support systems used in economic planning and management. Feasible goals method devoted to decision and is introduced and applied. Methods for mathematical analysis of incentive systems in a planned economy are discussed. The book can be used as a textbook.
