In 2005 TC 16 began the construction of bilingual thesaurus for the subject domain “Mathematical Theory of Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis”. The development of a working version of the thesaurus was completed. It is used currently as a base for constructing the ontology of the subject domain “Mathematical Theory of Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis” (see Section “Ontology”).
